what does a pid getting out of sync even mean though?

Jeff
what does a pid getting out of sync even mean though?

It means the relevant mutable value of the system process table is no longer thread synchronized with the internal lock-free data structure that implements the turnkey solution.

Or maybe it means that the pid of the process it spawned no longer matches what is in the lokinet.pid file.

But I can't see why that would happen; lokinet doesn't relaunch itself and nothing else launches it in a loki launcher setup.

Jeff

It's helping me track down a intermitten bug with the lokinet status getting reported wrong. It only affects the output of the launcher status command

Jason basically got it, it's saying the PID we have on disk doesn't match the PID lokinet is running as

Vector0
I had one today too

I had one yesterday. Service restart fixed it, lokid logs showed nothing. Lokid wasn't responding to console input (not in a time I was willing to wait at least) system load was negligible and the service restart took about two minutes

Can i sync wallet with my snode:22023?

default node is too slow for me

Yes, but it will take time for it to fully sync before it is usable for a wallet.

Oops, I did it again! My second SN is up and open for contributions! 😎I set the operator fee to 12%, which is currently the lowest available. Got Loki to help it lift off? https://lokiblocks.com/service_node/2e10e86ea518239e1f65a4d424509ff614d3f12baada50c645000ddb6968da0d

wow no pool waiting contribution

Yeah and total nodes down close to 1000 again too.

Price is an issue these days :)

Jay B
Yeah and total nodes down close to 1000 again too.

% of 6.1.4 nodes increased as a consequence too. These cycles are starting to get predictable. A little portion of those nodes will sell off (probably stakers shares not pool ops), accumulation phase on the market, new nodes will fire up, and new level for price and node count.

I was thinking of maybe rolling out lokinet 0.7.0 to some foundation nodes and a few volunteers, seeing how it performs, then making it mandatory (with fixes, if needed) with the next HF.

Nobody is buying it thats all :D

joke aside, miners will eventually be gone :D

Aleksandar
joke aside, miners will eventually be gone :D

At the projects pace that will be in a year lol and will be offset by increase dev tax.
